Overview
Highly collaborative work environment that relies on individuals to captain self-directed projects is hiring a studio steward to manage our studio space through the busy wedding season. Maintaining an organized and tidy workspace directly impacts the experience of both staff and clients.
We are offering a position with flexible hours averaging out to approximately 12 hours/week usually on Tuesday, and Wednesday. The position is as an employee (not an independent contractor). Most work will be performed at our studio in Forest Park, IL (accessible by green & blue lines). Hauling decor up and down stairs is a normal part of the job. Working with flowers and plants is beautiful & fun - but also hard work!
About the Position
A principal florist must be both creative and organized, be imaginative and able to execute on building/bringing ideas to life, and treats others kindly in the process.
Tasks involved in this position include::
- Floral pick up & processing
- Floral production
- Personal floral delivery
- Event set up
- Working at local markets and pop ups
We are offering a position with flexible hours averaging out to approximately 25 hours/week usually between Thursday-Sun each week. The position is as an employee (not an independent contractor). Most work will be performed at our studio in Forest Park, IL (accessible by green & blue lines). Hauling decor up and down stairs is a normal part of the job, and this job will often include outdoor hours and manual labor.
